Vaudeville Ventriloquist William Wood’s Female Dummy Heads

A couple of weeks ago we did a blog with information about vaudeville ventriloquist William Wood that was sent to us by Alan Cook (click here to see that blog).

Mr. Cook was kind enough to send some pictures of a couple of William Wood’s female dummy heads along with this note:

Both of these from c 1900. Among the vent heads washed ashore in the Gulf of Mexico.

I do not know for sure, but suspect that these were returned to Edna Wood, the widow of Wm Wood ,when, retrieved from the sea.
