Back in January, you may recall we did a blog about Chris Alan and his look alike dummy of Anderson Cooper (click here to see that blog).

Well, Chris has done it again. Here’s an email and pics he sent in:

Hey Dan,

Not sure if you knew or not, but Anderson Cooper commissioned me to make “minis” of Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos and they were given to Kelly on Wednesday. Anderson gave Kelly her Mini Kelly, on her show, as a surprise! I was there and it was SO much fun.

I have a website up and running now as well, Chris Alan Designs : Portfolio Site of Artist Chris Alan : Custom Ventriloquist Dummies, Drawing, Painting, Interior Design and am being bombarded with orders since the show… Three more celebs even contacted me! Pretty good for someone so new, huh?

We showed you the video of Austin Phillips making his donation of the mini figure to the Ventriloquist Central Collection (click here to see video).

Today I would like to show you a few pictures of his figure now dressed in the style suit that Frank Marshall dressed his Tommy Knots figure in. This is an older suit which I just happened to have and it fit the Austin figure perfectly.

I am pleased to be able to offer you a chance of a lifetime. This is, according to Mr. Ray Guyll, the second Jerry Mahoney he made under strict supervision of Paul Winchell himself. The very first few Jerry Mahoney figures were made like this one before being sent off to Steve Meltzer and Jerry Layne.

The body is cast and the base was done in the shape of the McElroy figures which makes for easy sitting. The lower legs were cast with Jerry’s loafers. And best of all the hands were specially sculpted for this project by Ray Guyll and very very few were sold with them. Winchell even got a couple pair of these hands just for himself.
