Austin Phillips Visits Ventriloquist Central Collection

It was my great pleasure this past Friday evening to have an up and coming ventriloquist and vent figure builder Austin Phillips come and visit. It is actually the second time Austin has been here because he was one of the attendees to the first Ventriloquist Central Birthday Bash.

Since the last time Austin was here he has completed his first carved basswood ventriloquist figure, which I must tell you is really very nice for a first attempt at carving wood. His cheeky boy figure has side to side moving eyes winkers, blinkers and of course slot jaw. He stands about 44″ tall and I love the cute face Austin gave him.

We had a great evening together looking at the Ventriloquist Central Collection and Austin was a perfect guest. He asked if he could handle and I of course said yes. I love to show the collection off.

Remember if you are going to be in the Boston area let me know and you to can come over for a look see.
