What Would You Like

I always try to be fresh and present to you everything I possibly can on the blog each day that will be of interest whether it be a current news item concerning ventriloquism or a ventriloquist or something from the past like a figure maker or a ventriloquist figure.

I must tell you it is a job and if you have ever tried to do this you will find it is not easy. That being said I am looking for your input to help keep the blogs flowing.

In the past we have received many emails asking for items of interest but as of late things have slowed down so I am asking you What Would You Like to see or for me to talk about.

Feel free to ask me about anything from figures in the Ventriloquist Central Collection to Ventriloquists to Manipulation of Figures to Lip Control well you get the idea.

Here’s a topic you could run with for quite a while. How about brief biographies, or little known facts, of ventriloquists, famous and not so famous? (Or their figures.) You could always post one when you don’t have anything else to post and it would always be of interest to readers.

  2. James Manalli says:

I really like when you share video of figures from your collection.
I enjoy seeing the mechanics , headstick , bodies ETC….
I particularly enjoy seeing the Marshall’s as they remind me of the vents I saw on TV as a kid in the 60’s.
The posts on vents and their figures from the past and present are also great!
I must add I enjoy all of your blog posts. Your site is my primary source for all things vent related and I am glad it is here. I visit everyday!

  3. Ben Vee says:

I wouldn’t mind seeing more interviews, that is actual vids of an interview, with other vents.

  4. Mike Palma says:

What about shooting videos at vent haven of vents, figure makers, dealers rooms, etc and you’ll have plenty of videos to last a little while. I’d would be neat to see and hear tips from the pros on a video.

  5. Evan Hutchinson says:

I would like to see more on McElroy reproductions and anything Insull related. I am aslo interested in current figure makers that are beginning to makes names for themselves (i.e. my favorites James Eisenberg and Dave Deneen)!

  6. Charles Prouty says:

I am really interested in how Frank Marshall’s mechanics evolved over the years with along with his style of figure making.

  7. Jacob Moore says:

I would like to see a photo of Charlie McCarthy’s headstick and other rare photos of famous figures mechanics and things like that.
