A few days ago we showed you some clippings sent to us from Bob Conrad about ventriloquist Paul Winchell.

Well, Bob has done it again, only this time he’s sent us clippings of ventriloquist Edgar Bergen along with this email:

Hi Dan;

Here are a few old newspaper clipping of Bergen. As a youngster I cut out everything that had anything to do with ventriloquism or puppets, I have a pile of these things.

You can use them any way you want.

One Response to Ventriloquist Edgar Bergen Clippings

    That’s odd. I never knew Mortimer went to the smithsonian. I had heard the he & effie went to northwestern. Wonder why he wasn’t on display with charlie then. Maybe a mis-print ? A SHAME that they didn’t end up all staying together, & on permanent display in one place! Oh well.
