Our good friend Bob Abdou has sent us a bit of nostalgia from the UK:

Hey Everyone,

Here is a gem story for the blog, courtesy of David Showler, ventriloquist and marionette collector from the UK.

The Ventriloquists in America know much about the stars of Ventriloquism, Edgar Bergen, Paul Winchell, etc etc, but we know little about ventriloquist characters from other countries.

One was a popular ventriloquist and his dummy Hank the cowboy, which was a tv show and a marionette character from Pelham puppets (see link and video below).
