This past week I listed the Tim Selberg “Elwood” figure , which was one of his woodcarved figures, for sale on eBay. I did this because it had been on my Ventriloquist Marketplace for a few weeks and although I had quite a few emails asking about him it had not sold.
EBay reaches so many people that sometimes you just have to give it a try. I like everyone who lists on ebay is looking to make a sale. I have said many times that the only way I can keep upgrading and purchasing is to sell sometimes. It was just that way. I needed to make a sale due to other figure purchases.
The Selberg was getting some good action on eBay but I was contacted privately, by a professional performer who saw the figure on the Ventriloquist Marketplace and wanted to make the purchase. I therefore had to end the eBay listing.
I did receive quite a few emails asking why I ended the auction and this is the reason. I want everyone to know that I was not doing anything wrong behind everyone’s back. I had a legitimate buyer by way of my site so eBay was no longer needed.
I love it when I prove that the Ventriloquist Marketplace works. If you have a figure, hard or soft, give the Marketplace a try and you may be pleasantly surprised.!!
