Roy Catell’s Ventriloquist Figure’s Mechanics

I had a few ask me to see the mechanics inside this very unusual ventriloquist figure so to comply with those requests here are some pictures.

You can see that the eyes are made from ping pong balls and have a plug in the back of them to which the unusual set up of springs are attached. At present they move side to side and self center but I can clearly see that with adding another control they can perform all around eye movement.

This is a most unusual figure and there are aspects of a couple builders. but an exact builder eludes me.
