Protecting Your Ventriloquism Investment

Being a collector I am always asked about protecting my investments. First and foremost I have a very sophisticated alarm system in my home and then I have done specific identity marks for the figures which are only identifiable by me. If one of my figures were to be taken and then sold and I saw it I would be able to readily identify same for the police and insurance companies.

This brings me to the subject of insurance. Your home owners insurance policy gives coverage but only to the sum of $1000.00. And I believe that is a total loss and not individual. To make sure you are covered in full for your ventriloquist figure you will need to have what is called a floater for the individual item. This is true of any valuable such as coins or jewelry. To get the floater you will also need to have an appraisal. Most are familiar with this for say the spouse’s diamond ring but you can do this for your ventriloquist figure as well.

So with that said I want you to know that I offer an appraisal service for your ventriloquist figure which is suitable for you to use with your insurance company. My fee for doing a written appraisal for you is nominal so if interested feel free to contact me.
