Our friend Ed Thomas sent in this flyer about the show he and Larry Larkin have put together.
I just had to share this with everyone because it is so interesting. As we all know Mortimer was originally created from a sketch which Edgar provided to Virginia Austin Curtis. She in turn created the figure Mortimer for Edgar in Plastic wood. Mortimer was never a wood carved figure.
Today I am pleased to show you another of the master builder Frank Marshall’s creations. This figure is from the 1930’s and is a full size figure standing 40″ tall.
He has stationary eye but he has slot jaw and upper lip smile. His head stick is the long style to the bottom of the body giving the performer the ability to spin the head around in a full 360 degree rotation.
I received a very nice email the other day which I will share with you about James Tattersall ventriloquist figures.
