Looking for Amateur Ventriloquists

catch a rising star

We received an email from Frank Delaura looking for amateur ventriloquists to perform at the Catch A Rising Star Comedy Club in Lincoln, RI.

Here’s more information:

If you have ever had the thought of being a Ventriloquist or puppeteer and had the desire to entertain people, your time has come. Pick up your vent doll or hand puppet and teach it to talk. Then take it to the stage at Catch a Rising Star Comedy Club at the beautiful Twin River Casino in Lincoln RI. and take your shot at being an entertainer.

You’re doing this for the fun of it, and for the stage time. But who knows – if someone there really likes you, it could end up turning into paid spots. No guarantees, but who knows? It could be the beginning of something big, and we will help you in anyway we can right here at the Ventriloquist Group to get you on the stage.

The stage is open to all levels from first timers to semi-pros. If you or someone you know would like to get in on this once in a lifetime opportunity, please send an E-mail to: Frank Delaura, requesting the amount of stage time you would like, 5 – 10 – or 15 minute spots may be available.

We have not yet established a date, but it will be a Wednesday in the fall.
Early sign up is suggested.

For more information, e-mail me at: fdelaura9688@charter.net

Hope to hear from you soon,
