Our good friend, Pastor Scott Bryte has a nice little article with pictures in one of his local newspapers.
As you know, Scott built the “Corky & Sparky” figures that are now in the Ventriloquist Central Collection.

I don’t know if you have noticed lately but the big selling site has had basically nothing in the way of Ventriloquist Figures except for the on slot of ministry puppets. It really gets boring looking at the same old same old being sold by folks with” stores” and there is very little being sold by individuals.
I know I have written about wigs for ventriloquist’s figures in the past but I keep getting asked what I use on my figures. The answer to that is that the best wigs I find at the local Salvation Army or Morgan Memorial store.
The wigs that are there are often good quality sometimes even human hair and if you are lucky they will be toupees which work very well with a little bit of fitting.

Our good friend Mike Brose from Puppets and Props has created a blog primarily for builders of figures and I wanted to make sure you all knew about his blog so here is the link http://puppetsandprops.blogspot.com/ .
I have always said I am not really into toy ventriloquist figures but there are a few that were produced that certainly fit the bill. A while back I showed you a figure of Davy Crocket which I feel fit the bill and today I am going to show you a figure made by K&S that for sure fits the bill.
