Name My Collection, Continued

I wanted to just say thank you to all who made comments on this idea and I must say there are some very good suggestions and I am weighing every suggestion equally. I don’t want this to end with just one day so we will continue this blog for another day and see what else gets posted as comments.

We also had some great emails that came in as well and I would like to share those with everyone as well.

hey Dan

where do you find a bunch of dummies.

in our country its called the PARLIAMENT and in your neck of the woods they gather in the senate so is it not obvious where Dan’s Dumbos sit – the DAN WILLINGER”S SENATE of course or just THE SENATE -m LOGIC – smart guys do all the dirty work for the guys in the senate who keep changing – the changing FRONT as you see it – the actual workers are the SECs who are constant and they run the country anyway. Dummies cant.

Just my two bits because you ASKED.

  2. Lee Dean says:

…like “Basswood Station” or “Basswood Parlor”.

  3. Lee Dean says:

    or “Vent Parlor”.

  4. Bob Isaacson says:

Willinger’s Wonderful Dummyland or Willingers Rest Home for Dummies

  5. Lee Dean says:

    or “Not For Sale”.

  6. Andrew Vondersaar says:

    How about “Dan’s Puppet Parlor”

  7. Bob Isaacson says:

    Willinger’s retirement home for dummies

  8. Dan Leighly says:

I still like the TRIBUTE COLLECTION, but one thought that comes to mind is that all of your pictures, or most of them are taken on your Front Porch.
Dan Willinger’s “The Front Porch VENT Collection” might work.

  9. Dan Leighly says:

Hey, how about the Front Porch Vent Gang!

  10. scott Bryte says:

I agree with David Pendleton. The collection already has a name, and a really good one too. It would be hard to improve upon “ventriloquist central”.

  11. Phil Grecian says:

The name I wanted to suggest:
    The Vent Preserve
Because that’s what it is, and that’s what it does.
    Phil

  12. Colin says:

You have such a wonderful collection; I don’t think a gimmick name would do it justice. How about ‘Willinger’s Classic Ventriloquial Collection?’
Best wishes from your aussie mate,
    Colin

  13. Larry Harris says:

    Dan,

I would have to say ” Dan Willinger’s New England Museum of Ventriloquism figures of Past and Present.”

Another one might be “Dan Willinger’s House of Ventrilquist Figures featuring the most complete collection of Frank Marshall Figures.”

    Cheers.
