How to Find Antique Ventriloquist Figures

antiques

In keeping with some past posts on how I find antique ventriloquist figures I have talked about antique dealers.

I was an active antique dealer for many many years and made many connections but you do have to outsource as well. One of my favorites was the use of an antique newspaper that was published weekly called the Newtowne Bee.

Not only did it give you news on antiques recently sold but covered antique shows and the back half of the paper covered antique auctions all across the country.

I would scour that paper looking for any ventriloquist figure that may be listed for sale. Although not many ever showed up a few did which I was able to log in my bids. A couple I won and some I lost. The nature of the antique auction game.

Today this same publication is now online and here is the link http://antiquesandthearts.com/ give it a look and maybe you to can use it to find ventriloquist figures or any other collectible that your heart may desire.

I have now given you one of my trade secrets!!
