ALF – I’m Your Puppet

Back in the late 1980’s one of the most popular television personalities was a character named ALF. He was a soft puppet that was created by Paul Fusco.

In 1988 the series had a show entitled Alf-I’m Your Puppet and in this show Alf receives his very own ventriloquist figure. It is a conversion Mortimer Snerd figure. He learns how to throw his voice and the little guy comes to life.

This is a cute show and I was happy to be able to find it and give you a link here so that you can watch it. I know you will enjoy seeing Alf again and his mastery of the art of ventriloquism.

Just wanted let ya’ll know that I am a new vent, resurrecting is a better word. Did some vent stuff in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Getting back into it.
Today, Monday the 7th of April, I had the pleasure of meeting, face to face, Steve Hurst. We had about an hour and a half chat. Very interesting and informative. He’s one heck of a guy. He showed me his Charley the Dawg and some of his older vent puppets. We had a good visit and I’m looking forward to seeing him again.
    Thanks for your time Steve.
