One of my dearest friends lives in Las Vegas and last week he called to let me know that his is getting married. He met a Chinese girl by way of a waitress friend of his in Las Vegas and began an online relationship with this woman. He then went to China and met her there and they decided to wed. It took them over a year to get all the paper work done to bring her over to the US and she arrived and a wedding is taking place tomorrow.
It was perfect reason for Helen and me to take a trip to get away from the bad weather in Boston!! I love Las Vegas and plan to one day retire here so when my friend said come we made the booking and here I am in Vegas.
It is Nascar Weekend here so the place is all a buzz. Hopefully I will get to see Terry Fator and tonight I am going to see Kenny Wayne Sheppard, one of the best blues slide guitarists ever. I can’t wait. I also hope to see Jersey Boys.
