My partner Steve has been corresponding with a “new” vent who purchased his first ventriloquist figure off of the Ventriloquist Marketplace and he happens to be a cartoonist as well.
His name is David Ford and he sent in some cartoons so we thought we would share them with our readers.

Fish Antics page has me hooked. I can tell David Ford is a fisherman or knows a lot about fishing and the baits used. I collect the old wood muskie, pike, and bass lures, those with the glass eyes. “Every fisherman is a puppeteer, and every fishing lure is a puppet on a string, with the puppeteer imparting life to an inanimate object to catch fish, so the importance of puppetry in our culture cannot be downplayed.” Kriket
Thanks for the happy comments. The one vent cartoon that I decided to submit to the newspaper was published. . . and I man I had never seen before approached me at work. He took a piece of paper out of his case that had a copy of the vent cartoon taped to it. He stood beside me and in a whispering voice said.. “Excuse me.. . can you explain your cartoon to me?” I seldom get that question on the fishing cartoons! Oh well. . . .
