I was so pleased when I received an email from Tony Davis letting me know he was going to be in the Boston area. He came in from Oregon with his wife Debra and another couple Jim and Sylvia Lavoie. They decided to take a leaf peeping trip and once off the plane the first stop was to see the collection.
Tony has been a contributor to Ventriloquist Central and you can see some of his work if you look on YouTube (click here). He is very creative.
He also brought with him, just to show me, a ventriloquist figure made by Dick White. Dick was a comic strip contributor to the Old Dialogue magazine. The figure, whose name is Woody, is really very cute and was created as a comic strip type character. When Bob passed his wife gave the figure to Tony. Woody is being kept very well indeed.
It was a pleasure having them as my guests for a couple hours. Tony was absolutely drawn by Bob Isaacson’s Mortimer Snerd figure. It was a fun time.

Excellent work Tony and Davis Family. Al reminds me so much of the Fred Ketch figure.
Hi Lee, thanks! About Al, he is a figure that Joe Boley made. He is a great caracter in the hands of his owner Mike Sheridan in England.
Hi Dan and Helen!
Thank you for your hospitality and welcoming us into your beautiful home. We are grateful Tony and Debra brought us with them to see you. We enjoyed our visit so much and it was a great way to begin our trip to New England! You have an amazing collection and I (Sylvia) especially liked the one that was made to look like you. It really did! Thank you Helen for the coffee and donuts and the lovely visit all around! We hope to see you again someday!
