I am happy to share with you all a really superb Pinxy Figure that I recently acquired.

It is a full 40″ Tall and mouth movement only.

When I got the pictures of him I saw that there was some over paint done so I will be doing a restoration on this fellow and will share with you all the steps of the job as it goes along. I just love these early ventriloquist figures.

As a child I acquired a Pinxy “Guiseppe” doll in the late 1950’s. He had green corduroy knickers and top, black knee high stockings and black high top shoes. Legs and arms were stuffed with straw. Bald and crude. apparatus for smoking/spitting and one eye winked. Arms have been replaced, legs still intact but in rough shape. Face painted close to original features.
I appeared on kids TV show for a couple years and traveled in the Philadelphia area entertaining. I absolutely loved it. I named my doll “Donny”. I am now 76 yrs old and interested in an approximate value of the doll. Are you able to help me?
