Great Foy Brown Figure Project

I am happy to offer to you today a project that with a small amount of work will give you a great small size Foy Brown ventriloquist figure. This is a 30″ tall figure and you are getting the head which is in absolutely untouched original condition.

It is mouth only movement and the original cord is present but broke so has to be re strung. I am also including an old body that fits this head perfectly and also a pair of wood carved hands that are also the correct size to use.

Ken Spencer Figure Head Stick

This Ken Spencer head came in to me and the head stick had been cut off at the base of the neck. Why this was done I have no clue.

But I had to replace the head stick so I had one made by Steve Kilgore and restrung the original cord through the new head stick and placed the lever for the mouth dead center on the front of the head stick. So it can be used by right or left hand fore finger.

Unusual Finis Robinson Head Carving

I am sure you all know that Finis Robinson was a maker of ventriloquist figures but he made them out of wood dough and he actually had his own recipe for the stuff.

He did mix sawdust and glue to make it and I am sure he combined it with the over the counter wood dough too. What many may not know is that Finis did carve wood as well.
