Ed Sullivan, The Ventriloquists Friend

We get so many emails to Ventriloquist Central. I have to admit that when we received this one….I was so shocked.

Mike Valentine sent this comment in an email:

 

“Fantastic Web site! Dan is the best friend of ventriloquism since Ed Sullivan! Great job!”

 

Now if you’re old enough to remember Ed Sullivan, he was king of the variety shows and was a friend of ventriloquists. In fact many ventriloquist appeared on his show.

To be compared to Ed Sullivan is a wonderful compliment.

Mike, I know I speak for my webmaster, Steve, as well as myself…. thanks so much for your kind compliment. We will do our best to live up to your words.

Phillipine Ventriloquist Wanlu – Way To Go!

Our friend Wanlu has been competeing in the Phillipines version of America’s Got Talent called ” Talentadong Pinoy” Wanlu had to compete in five episodes and in each episode he had to use a different figure.

VIDEOS, VIDEOS, And MORE VIDEOS, On Ventriloquist Central

Today nothing goes forward unless it is viewable by everyone. I found that out personally by doing the videos on collecting which we have put up on Ventriloquist Central.

I have received so many emails from all of you thanking me for doing these videos and making the information so much easier to digest.

So in keeping with this new mode on the internet I discussed with Steve (the webmaster) about making ventriloquism videos available for all of you who come to Ventriloquist Central and eliminate the need to go to other video sites.

Why, I said to Steve, can’t we make a video page here on Ventriloquist Central with nothing but ventriloquism videos. Steve went to work on the programming side and so now we are happy to premier out new page on Ventriloquist Central “Ventriloquist Videos”

Voting Results for the Ventriloquist Figure Collection

I want to thank everyone who decided to send in a name for my collection. It was really a fun event in the develpoment of Ventriloquist Central. I also want you all to know that even though only one suggestion won the vote we will be using some of the names that were suggested through out the web site. One is the suggestion of Marshall Arts. Steve and I decided that is a great name for the section of the collection showing the Frank Marshall figures.

OK so now for the results of the voting over the past week:

  • The Ventriloquist Central Collection — 111 votes, 57%
  • Dummy Central — 78 votes, 40%
  • Vent Ville — 45 votes, 23%

We will be making the change of the name on the web site this coming week. Again let me take this opportunity to thank everyone with this helping hand and also everyone who has helped to make Ventriloquist Central the place to come for everything related to this great art of ventriloquism.
