Here is a story that should interest both of you since, in a way, both of you were involved in getting a new young ventriloquist ready for his student debut.
Our good friend and ventriloquist figure builder, Tim Cowles has his new web site up and running.

I received this email a few days ago from Phil Merto in Australia asking for help with ventriloquism:

I have had a Gerry Gee Jr Doll from the age of about 9 Years,and can throw my voice a bit. I’m now 58 years almost retired and would like to meet with other people with more practice than I.
David Turner is a great builder of figure and I met him and have showcased him a couple times from the Vent Haven ConVENTion showing his carved characters.
I love his work because his style is his own and I love the fact that on many of his figures he uses the natural coloring of the wood and does not paint his figures.
Our good friend and regular contributor, Mr. Puppet himself, Bob Abdou sent this video to us. He now lives in Ohio and he’s promoting his “No Bully Zone” school show.
