Our good friend Bob Abdou sent this link to us about Chuck Fields and his performance at the KSCVK Men’s Event Motzai Shabbos.
We had a great time talking with Mark Wade on our Ventriloquist Central Telephone Talk this past Thursday night.
Mark told us about the new venue for the Vent Haven ConVENTion, what to expect, the shows and so much more. If you missed the call, you missed a great time.
However, due to an overwhelming response of emails and phone calls, we decided to put up a replay recording of the call so those who missed the call for whatever reason, can now enjoy it.
Wow!!! Can you imagine selling your ventriloquist figure then being told by the largest selling venue in the world that you can’t have your money until you ship your figure to the buyer and then the buyer must leave you a positive feedback? Once the feedback has been left they will release the funds to you.
This make no sense to me at all. What if the buyer receives the figure from you and then says he or she is unhappy so all they have to do is say there is something wrong with it and low and behold they get the money back and now you don’t have your money nor do you have the figure. What a bizarre way to run a selling venue.
I am only telling you what has happened to our friend Mike Palma with a sale that he made on the big venue.

Tonight is our Ventriloquist Central Telephone Talk with executive director of the Vent Haven ConVENTion, Mark Wade. The call will be at 8pm Eastern, 7pm Central and 5pm Pacific.
The people from last years ConVENTion know that “Mark Wade is a Great Man”.
I have to see if some of you figure builders out there can answer a question for me that I have been thinking about for a while. It has to do with the finish of a plastic wood casting when it comes out of the mold and the finish that the casting has.
When you look at a McElroy casting the plastic wood was pressed into the mold and then filled with lead shot and submerged in water over night to cure. When the casting came out it appears to be smooth as glass. I know that you can do filling and sanding after the casting comes out of the mold but the McElroys just seemed so perfect. Even the inside of the casting with the small shot marks is very smooth.
