If you saw ventriloquist John Pizzi on America’s Got Talent, then you saw he was using some new technology (if you didn’t see it, click here).

This month I am super excited because our Ventriloquist Central Telephone Talk will be with two of the best in the figure making world, none other than Bill Nelson and Dan Lavender.
Bill Nelson has been involved with Ventriloquist Figure making for 4 decades and has created some of the finest ventriloquial characters that have ever been seen. His figures are present in all the foremost collections as well as his fantastic dolls which are owned by some of the biggest stars and celebrities in the world.
I’ve written a few blog about clothes and ventriloquist figures. Ben Vee from “Down Under” sent this email to me with pictures and thought I would share it with you.
Here’s his email:
Everyone today who is into ventriloquism should know who Dan Payes is because he has been selling Ventriloquist Figures for around 15 years. He is one of those that I certainly would call a prolific builder. Hundreds of his figures are now out there in the hands of performers and collectors.
In his building of figures he has created a Siamese Twins figure and to date he has made only four of them. They are spread around the world and today I am happy to show all of you the one that has become a part of the Ventriloquist Central collection.
