Madeleine Maher Figure on the Ventriloquist Marketplace

I am pleased to offer you a rare figure today. This is an original Madeleine Maher figure from the 1950’s and I believe it to be in her catalogue as the “Buster” figure.

I am going to give someone a chance to get a real deal on this one because it does need a couple things. The original mechanics are all there and working and were done by George Eazer (he taught Clinton Detweiler) but along the way the eyebrows came off and were lost. The eyebrows you see I cut out and stuck on as a temporary until they are repaired. Also there is a small dent crack on the right temple which is also a simple repair. As matter of fact the buyer could have Clinton fix these.

That said he stands 40″ tall, has slot jaw, side to side moving eyes and raising eyebrows and his head is a drop through and has 360 degree movement. The paint is all original and he is even wearing his superb period two tone jacket. His body also has the bottom board that sticks out on the front of the legs to make him sit without falling over..
