As I had said I am going to do a restoration of the Frank Marshall Lucky Charlie figure. The first thing that had to be done was removal of all the overpaint.
He had been painted in theatrical black face eons ago. It is rock hard but by using cotton balls and paint stripper you can see he is coming along.
I will give further updates as the work progresses.
