Ken Spencer Ventriloquist Figure used by Stu Scott

I am happy today to show you a really nice Ken Spencer figure that was used by Stu Scott at one time. He has a wonderful cheeky boy look with that signature Ken Spencer nose and his dish ears.

This figure is 38″ tall has slot jaw, side to side moving eyes and the right eye winks. I also love the lever he made for the mouth movement. Very nice and easy to use with either hand. He has his original wooden body and wooden bulbous hands. He was originally sold by Golden Gate Magic which was in San Francisco Ca. as shown by the label still on the head stick.

A great Spencer figure.

My guess from the last photo modification by Stu Scott is the hole in the head shown in next to last picture maybe for a spitter or smoker, or something like that, I don’t know.

This is a fabulous looking figure. I just saw a great Stu Scott video that Ron Spears has on his YouTube channel. But the thing that really struck home, Dan, is your reference to the Golden Gate Magic Shop that I spent several days in when I was 14 and visiting San Francisco with my parents. It was an incredible shop, so I’m very pleased but not surprised that they sold quality figures. But when I was there I was soaking up magic and impressing the guy behind the counter with my ability to do the one hand shuffle the day after he first showed it to me. Wish I’d paid attention to the shop’s figures and learned vent when I was at the age where I could acquire skills that quickly.
