It is with great pleasure that I can announce to the ventriloquist community that James Manalli is now carving basswood ventriloquist figures and is in fact taking orders.
His very first figure he decided he wanted to become part of the Ventriloquist Central Collection and I am happy to share him with you.
He stands 38″ tall and his body is made of wood with muslin covering and his hands and feet are carved basswood. He only has slot jaw movement but that is all this character needs.
Jim also placed the mouth control on the center front of the head stick which is the way Paul Winchell did his figures. It means you use the fore finger of either hand for controlling the movement of the mouth.
I hope you enjoy seeing this great new addition to the collection and if you want to have a figure carved by Jim here is his contact email address: toughknot@yahoo.com
