J.C. Turner Ventriloquist Figure For Sale

I am very happy to both show and offer to you this very nice and different example of a J.C. Turner figure. This figure dates from the 1940’s and is in remarkably good condition for being 70 or so years old. He has slot jaw and raising eyebrows which are operated from 2 large wooden levers on the head stick. The functions work perfect just like the day they were made.

The paint on his head was redone but I am guessing it is about 50 years ago. His eyes have very nice clear brown glass and his eyebrows are plain wire. John Turner did this all the time. The hands on this guy are replacement but look like Marshall and are very solid and were attached with nails. His wig is in very good condition too. He stands about 44″ tall and you will get him fully clothed as you see in the pictures.

If you always wanted a full wood carved figure with a great comical face that you can use as well as display as a collectors item this guy is for you.

Best looking Turner I ever saw. The Great Lester was fond of J.C. Turner figures and would have liked this one I bet.
