Frank Marshall Ventriloquist Figures Needed

I must tell you that there is jealousy everywhere. I don’t care if you collect baseball cards, record albums, stamps or coins or even ventriloquist figures, someone is going to bad mouth you if you have something that they don’t have or can’t find.

It has always amazed me that folks would be upset with someone because they had spent the time to search and cultivate places to find that elusive item that everyone else wants to find. Unfortunately for me I too have those that are jealous and even don’t like me because of the collection of ventriloquist figures that I have put together.

Can you imagine spending all your free time working on the thing you love most, outside of your family of course, and then being bad mouthed because of this passion. I certainly can’t name names but I was told I should be ashamed of myself and all my figures should be in the Vent Haven Museum. It was an ironic statement because when WS Berger was compiling his collection there were those that gave him the same comments that I have been getting. Of course it is from a very select few.

My collection, though not as large as the Vent Haven’s, is a museum quality collection and I am preserving and cataloging each and every figure, and posting them on Ventriloquist Central for all to see at any time day or night. So I suppose this is wrong? I think I have tried as hard as I can to bring all aspects of ventriloquism to the forefront where anyone can see and read and research anything they might want to know about ventriloquism. This has been a passion of mine and I have been helped by so many people it is impossible to name them all. The saying is certainly true you can’t please everyone all the time.

So to the original title of this blog there is a gap in the Ventriloquist Central Collection because there are some heads that were done by Marshall that as of this writing are still not in the collection. PLEASE if you have a Frank Marshall figure, and you are not using him, this is where he belongs. I am passionate about my collection and any figure which arrives here is treated like royalty. You can contact me anytime and of course all transaction are strictly confidential.

Bring on the Frank Marshall Ventriloquist Figures and all others too!!!

I have a feeling I know where this came from. I guess, in any easter egg hunt, people are always going to be jealous of the guy who finds more eggs than they do. I think the person who attacked didn’t mean for it to come off the way it did, and was more concerned about his own death and the fate of his vent figure afterward. We become attached to these lovely little faux creatures, don’t we? I, for one, wish that some rich person who loves vent would just build you a nice big building with glass cases and recorded historical messages and little signs…a Willinger Museum of Marshall (and other interesting) Ventriloquist Figures. I guess there’s always going to be people who dislike each of us (and, again, the vent to whom I think you refer likes you, I think; he’s just looking out for his vent partner and is worried about his fate)…but, in your case, I think there are legions more who like you and cheer you on in your quest.
    I know I do.

That’s too Bad—-You’re suppose to love one another, and not be critical.

You can’t let it get to you what other insecure, jealous, people say or do. There will always be the have’s and the have not’s. I get so much amazement whenever i see a new figure you have acquired and enjoy them as you do. Through your collection I can have ,even though I have not. It gives me the inspiration and drive to make my own figures. And maybe you will have one of my figures in your collection. Thank you for all you do, and carry on Dan.
