  1. Good News !! Conrad was diagnosed with Sweets Syndrome and has taken meds for this and is already improving. He will be home from the Hospital tomorrow!!

  2. Philip Grecian says:

That IS good news! I feel a deep affinity for Conrad. He created my main figure, Louie. I had a previous Louie figure for over forty years, and when I saw Conrad’s for sale (the resemblance to my previous figure was striking) I had to have it. I wrote him asking permission to change the hair and, perhaps, paint the eyebrows a different color and he was instantly back to me…very open and friendly and said, “sure, go ahead!” Even offered me some tips.
    I couldn’t do it, though.
Put the new wig on OVER Conrad’s original and affixed it with invisible fasteners. Didn’t touch the eyebrows.
It’s a Hartz figure, after all.
We are fortunate that he is well. While he lives, we are walking with a giant.

  3. LeeDean says:

    Speedy recovery, Conrad Hartz.

  4. George Boosey says:

Me and my Hartz figures — Sen. T. Aloysius Crocker and Plato, the philosopher-king of the road — wish Conrad a speedy recovery.
