1976 Bicentennial Year And That Year Is Mine

Ok so the title of my blog is rather strange. Let me tell you why I said that. In 1976 I went to a Cerebral Palsy telethon, which was on Jan 31st and at that telethon where I volunteered to work I met Helen, my wife.

Thirty days later we were engaged and 5 months later we were married. Yes six months to the wedding. The date… July 25, 1976 so that is why I titled the blog as you read.

Helen has been by my side for 36 years today and has supported me with her heart and sole all these years and has made me into the man I am today.

I truly believe that I could not have achieved what I have today if it had not been for her steadfastness next to me. I am very proud to say our lives have intertwined and we really are one.

So I tip my hat to my other half and say ” Happy Anniversary my love.”
