I must apologize to everyone because we really have slacked off on getting a blog out to you. Steve the webmaster has been overwhelmed with his regular work and so have I. I also have been doing quite a bit of bi coastal travel and it to has made it very difficult to keep a steady stream of blog information coming out to all of you.
Executive Director, Mark Wade sent this to us to post and let everyone know:
Maybe you’ve forgotten, or maybe you just put it off..but this is a reminder that to be eligible to participate in the Junior or Senior Open Mics at Vent Haven this summer you NEED TO BE REGISTERED AS AN ATTENDEE. That means I must have your registration here at VHC headquarters before the March 11 email requests for entry into either of these events. We will take the first 8 who email me with a request to be in either on Wednesday, MARCH 11 at 10 AM (don’t do it any earlier as I only go by those emails that are at 10 AM for that morning). We will take the first 8, with 4 alternates in each division in case someone drops out. Requests made without being a paid attendee will be disqualified.
I have made a few rather large purchases and it has prompted the sale of some items from the Ventriloquist Central Collection.
My partner with Ventriloquist Central, Steve Hurst, has informed me that he’s did a total redesign for Al Good and his website.

Brant sold this to me 4 years ago at the Vent Haven Convention and I really had to step up to the plate to get him.
He stands 42″ tall and he has ball and socket neck, slot jaw and side to side self centering eyes. As per all of Mr. Gilmer’s figures the mechanics are silky smooth and as quiet as a church mouse. He is in perfect condition.
He is signed inside the head and is also signed on the head stick by Brant as his #1 figure.
