Jeff Dunham's "All By My Selves" A Must Read Ventriloquism Book

I just had to let you know that I spent this weekend reading Jeff’s new book All By My Selves and must say I was totally enthralled with his book and how he told his story.

It was gripping and once you started to read you just didn’t want to put it down. He makes you feel as though you know him totally and takes you right to his heart.

I really don’t want to give ANYTHING away which he tells in the book because it is sooo good. So I suggest you run out and purchase it at your local book store. It has already make the New York Times best seller list and I am happy I am included in those that helped get it there.

Wigging on Len Insull Ventriloquist Figures

My good friend Colin sent in an email to me which I wish to share with everyone. It seems I may have made an error when I said Len Insull figures only came with crepe hair.

If you watch the video I did recently showing the small Insull figure in the Ventriloquist Central collection you will hear me say this statement. But Colin has supplied us with copies of correspondence from Davenport Magic showing that the figures could be purchased with a hair wig and then there is a shot of Colin’s figure with that hair wig.

So I want to thank Colin for correcting me and giving everyone here who comes to Ventriloquist Central the right information.

I did in fact suggest to Colin that Len Insull himself did the figures with Crepe hair but if the figures were purchased from Davenport Magic that THEY may have been the ones that could put on a hair wig.

Colin said that by having a hair wig on the figure almost doubled the cost. But in any case from now on I am going to say they were offered with both types of wigging.

Veterans Day Honoring All Who Served

Today, in America, this happens to be one of the most important days in my mind, the observance of Veterans day because of the sacrifice that so many American men and women have made to keep our country the free democracy in which we live.

I am a Navy veteran of the Vietnam era. It makes no difference which generation of military you are today’s is just as important as the past.

This is a celebration of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and we at Ventriloquist Central honor you all!!
