Next week our Ventriloquist Central Telephone Talk will be with two of the best in the figure making world, none other than Bill Nelson and Dan Lavender of Inspired Worx.

Bill Nelson has been involved with Ventriloquist Figure making for 4 decades and has created some of the finest ventriloquial characters that have ever been seen. His figures are present in all the foremost collections as well as his fantastic dolls which are owned by some of the biggest stars and celebrities in the world.

Dan Lavender is a relatively new builder but his mechanics are genius and his pairing with Bill Nelson has created some of the finest figures out there.

Ventriloquist Toby Jug

For sale is a very nice Toby Jug which was produced and sold by the Magic Art Studio back in 2001. This has the exact likeness of the Len Insull Toby Jug.

It has moving lower lip, side to side moving eyes and one eyebrow raises. It is in perfect condition and if I didn’t already have an example of this Toby Jug in the Ventriloquist Central Collection I would never let this one go.

Ventriloquist Central Video Collecting Series – Tiny Frank Marshall Ventriloquist Figure

Here is a video of this very nice tiny Frank Marshall figure. He has slot jaw, side to side self centering eyes and right eye winks. He has the chop stick lever for the mouth but this guy has a ball to pull for the winker. These controls are all original as to how Marshall did them. No changes or repairs. Even the cords are original.
