I can’t believe it but the Ventriloquist Central Birthday Bash is almost here. Less than 3 weeks to our great party. If you have a desire to attend there is still time for you to secure your spot.
You don’t want to miss out on seeing the Ventriloquist Central Collection, an afternoon of presentations along with an Open Mic.
Our BIG Show entertainment will be spectacular this year as well. First up we have Al Getler. Al is no stranger to the vent community. Al has performed at theaters, casinos, comedy clubs and colleges across the USA. He has been seen on TV and also been the featured speaker/performer at many of the country’s FORTUNE 500 companies, meetings and business celebrations. He was the Director at Vent Haven Museum in 1989.
Ventriloquist Barbara Baxter and her SUGAR PILLS ALL-GIRL UKULELE BAND will be the Opening act for singer-musician Jon Aiken at Blinkers Tavern in Covington, KY on Sept. 27 at 7:30pm.

Barbara, cancer survivor, formed this group as part of the outreach for her upcoming book “Sugar Pills: Non-Medical Ways to Feel Your Best.”

After running the blog about my selling figures from the Ventriloquist Central Collection, I had some inquiry about figures that have been donated to the collection.
On this I can say no figures that have been donated have even been sold from the collection nor will they ever be sold.
Here is lesson number ten from our good friend and regular contributor ventriloquist/puppeteer, Bob Abdou aka Mr. Puppet with his video he calls “Tidbit in a Minute.”
Today’s video is “Show Business: The Business Card.”
