The very first Vent Haven ConVENTion that Helen and I attended was 10 years ago and after we had registered we were sitting in the lobby of the Drawbridge.
It was Tuesday and so we were there early. A nice fellow approached us and asked if we were there for the ventriloquist ConVENTion and we of course said yes. That very nice man was Lee Wolfson. We hit it off right away he having attended before and we as newbies.
Last year at the 2012 Vent Haven ConVENTion, Mark Wade presented the W.S. Berger Award to Steve and me for our Ventriloquist Central website. Unfortunately, Steve was unable to attend that year.
Our Ventriloquist Central Birthday Bash was the first time since the award that Steve and I have been together so we decided to take the opportunity and have a nice picture taken with both of us and our awards.
On October 4th, we did a video showing me unpacking an Art Sieving Mortimer style ventriloquist figure (Ventriloquist Central Collection Video Series – Art Sieving Mortimer Style).
If you recall, during that video the string to the mouth broke. Well, here’s Part 2 of that video.
I ordered Ventriloquist Central T-Shirts for our Birthday Bash and decided to order a few extras for anyone else who might want one.
