After months and months of planning and work by both myself and my partner/webmaster Steve I have the privilege of saying the Ventriloquist Central Birthday Bash was a success.
I wish I had recorded every person who came up to me and gave me accolades about the party but I was so tired I could not have held the camera.
I want to thank each and every guest that made the great effort to attend and I must give double thanks to all the performers and speakers that really made the Birthday Bash the great event that it was.
So in No particular order here are all those that I must thank; Ed Thomas, Ray Guyll, Barbara Guyll, Steve Hurst, Ken Shapiro, Bob Abdou, Jason Willinger, Mike Robinson and most especially my best friend in the world and wife Helen Willinger. Without doubt one of the best days I have ever spent.
I was asked during the Birthday Bash, if we plan on doing this again and I must say I want to but we need to find out from all of you if you want us to do another in the future.
If you were one of the Birthday Bash attendees please email us and let us know how you personally felt about this special weekend so that we can share with the rest of our readers. It would be great for all to hear about this great time.
Again thanks for allowing me to show all of you a good time.

Hello Dan….Thanks for sharing all the photos of the “Birthday Bash”. It looks as though everyone was having a wonderful time; thanks to all your hard work & many efforts. Sorry I couldn’t be there with all of you. Congratulations on your successful event !
I see that Chubby Cub was at the party. As I did not have a car at the time I had to walk downtown from the Baylor campus to the main street in Waco, a distance of a good mile, to buy that blue jacket for him back in the 1960’s. I am sure Baylor and Waco have changed, but not that great bear figure.
…With exception that a white glint in each eye that Frank Marshall painted in to match the school’s logo was painted over not by me but by somebody else after I left him in Texas around 1964.
Looks like everyone had a great time, sorry I missed the party.
Dan, Thanks for inviting Hugo and me. You and Helen were great hosts. Met alot of old friends and new friends. Thanks for the tour of your home and the wonderful collection……..Ed Thomas and Hugo
it’s worth repeating: this will go down as one of my favorite weekends of my life!!
I think all the pictures of your fantastic collection were incredible. If you do it again next year I will try to attend . I will say it again, truly incredible.
