The Ventriloquist Marketplace

ventriloquist marketplace

We received the following email from Bob Steininger about the Ventriloquist Marketplace:

I am not so happy with the site I contacted several of the people on this site to see about selling the product and no response then I am finding that they are advertizing on ebay I dont know if it is a game there playing to see if they can get more then what they are asking for or if they have others motives I follow your site daily I am a vent and also collect vent dolls I was thinking about thinning the herd and was going to place ads on your site but I am having second thoughts.

Here was my response:

Bob,
I am unhappy to have you say you are unhappy with Ventriloquist Central. We have no control over products that are listed on the Marketplace and we certainly can’t help it if they also list on ebay. I have written many times that the OTHER site for selling costs much more than selling on the Marketplace and still folks do it anyway. I myself have not listed a figure for sale on the other site for years. I list my own items on the Marketplace and they sell.

Also if you have tried to contact a seller and they have not responded to you that again has nothing to do with Ventriloquist Central. We only supply the contact information that is provided to us. I can’t make someone respond to you even though I wish I could. We do run a disclaimer that eliminates us, here at Ventriloquist Central, from all liability concerning transactions on the Marketplace.

I also have talked many times about the scammers that do appear every so often. I even have a video about the scammers listed at the beginning of the Marketplace ad.

So what more can I do to make it better for you? You list your figure you want to sell, for the amount you want, we put your contact information and you deal directly with the buyer or visa versa!!

I do hope this has answered you and I hope you will take advantage of the great track record that the Marketplace has shown. Items sometimes sell in the first hour of listing and sometimes it can take months but eventually most items seems to sell.

I sell in Ventriloquist Central markeplace and have found it to better then e bay or any other place to sell figures. After reading the first part of the post I tested to make sure the e mails went through and they worked fine, so it’s not a vent central problem, it’s more of the seller, I guess the seller does not want to sell his figure. But as far as selling in the vent central market place, I’m a believer, I know it works and it is better then e bay or any other outlet to sell.

    Best regards,

    Mike Palma
