When it comes to web site work I can’t praise Steve highly enough and when you see these pages you will see why I say this.

Recently we were contacted by Kerry, Terry Bennett’s son who decided he would like us to put up a page about his father. We were certainly excited to have him ask and I was blown away by Kerry’s email to Steve for having done such a nice job. Here’s Kerry’s email:

Wow!

It looks great Steve! Definitely has my approval!! Thank you so much for putting this together. It’s really an honor to have this on the site.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any reason.

From the Bennett family, we thank you immensely!!

We will keep in touch!
Kerry

If you have not heard of Terry Bennett you will know him once you have read and watched all the great videos and looked at the wonderful pictures that Kerry sent to us to share with you all.

This is a veritable treasure trove of one of the best ventriloquists that ever performed. I say this and you will too once you have watched this master perform. It is really a shame the world lost him so early in his life.

Have fun and be prepared to spend some time.

I would stay up late every Saturday night to watch Shock Theater and all the scary movies. On Youtube there is the final performance in 1959 posted, credits and goodbyes.

Probably the most lasting contribution of Terry Bennett is his creation of the ABC TV logo. http://www.chicagotelevision.com/bennett.htm

    Hey Dan, Steve and Kerry,

great post, this just goes to prove that ventriloquism in Terry’s day was not devoted to just Paul, Jimmy, Senor and Sheri. And today it’s not just Terry and Jeff, ventriloquism is bigger than we think. great post and video
