Sleeve and Pant Length for Ventriloquist Figures

One of the many problems that arise when purchasing clothing for Ventriloquist figures is that the suit coat sleeves and pant lengths will be too long for the vent figure. The fix of course can be going to the tailor and having these shortened to the right length.

I have found that if you go to Jo Anne Fabrics or any other fabric center you can purchase a tape made specifically for fabric which will allow you to fold the extra length inside, tape it and then use an iron which heats the tape holding the fabric in place where you put it.

Not a very hard thing to do on your own and it certainly will save you both time and money not giving same to a tailor.
