I wanted to show you guys my attempt at carving a figure from
basswood. He doesn’t have a name yet. I was aiming towards a
cartoony look which will show up better once his ears are on.

    Thanks for the kind comments! Progress has been slow on him. I’m a full time college student so I only get time to work on him on weekends.

    The area around the eyes was the hardest for me to do.
