Dan Willinger & Friends with “I’m Not Dummy”

I finally received my copy of I’m No Dummy today and immediately popped it into my dvd player and watched it without interruption.

Being a lover of ventriloquism and it’s history and roots I must tell you I was enthralled with this documentary from beginning to end.

It certainly is not a comedy movie which I suspect unknowing buyers will find out when they watch this but I do think that they will find that the information and the way it has been presented will hold them for the entire movie.

There are some gem comedy bits both old and new that are scattered throughout the documentary which makes you want to continue to watch because you don’t want to miss anything.

Anyone who has even the slightest interest in ventriloquism is going to love it. So go and purchase your copy if you haven’t already and make some popcorn and learn a little about all aspects of ventriloquism.

I give this film 4 out of 5 stars.

BTW (by the way)….we will be doing another BlogTalkRadio next Thursday, April 22nd….so mark you calendars NOW!!!!

Yep. I used a link from here to go to Amazon and ordered my copy a couple of weeks ago. Got it. Watched it twice. Loved it! Even found Jimmy Nelson doing a “pronounce ventriloquist” bit that I’ve been doing since I was about ten years old with my own figures…but didn’t know where it came from!
I guess I stole it from Jimmy…didn’t mean to.
Y’know…now that I think about it…maybe I’ll go back and watch “I’m No Dummy Again,” just for the sheer entertainment value of it!

I received my copy last week, watched it twice, enjoyed it both times. Jay, Jeff, and Lynn were great, and it was a treat to see Senor Wences, Paul Winchell and Jimmy Nelson again. If you are a ventriloquist it’s a must have!!!

I just finished my DVD and found it to be a great well rounded documentary, although I’m not going to lie, I was bummed that it didn’t contain more stand up or clips, but it was great and educational. I thought that Jeff Dunham and the people on the cover would have been utilized more in the DVD as well. It was great to see familiar puppets like Lambchop, and the interviews provided some great insights.
