Great Frank Marshall Figure

Today I received a question and it was if I happened to own this particular Frank Marshall figure.

The answer is no but I would love to have it in the Ventriloquist Central Collection. This particular Marshall is a walking figure and was created somewhere around 1931. If you study his face you will see that Frank Carved a great smile. Without question this is one of the best of Frank’s carvings.

This particular photo was from an article originally published in the Chicago Sun Sunday edition newspaper.

Wondering if you could help us identify a item. Grandfathers ventriloquist doll from 1900’s We think He said it was in the movie great gabbo. It’s a one piece unit in face. Not jointed. Are there any signature marks on frank Marshall’s pieces.? We’re there 2 dolls in the movie? Are there other movies in this era with his pieces?
