Frank Marshall Letter to Ventriloquist Johnny Main

I was searching through some of my archives of original letters that were written by Frank Marshall and found this one addressed to Johnny Main.

He apologizes to Johnny for his tardiness in shipping but also states that he is a one man operation. Some have said in the past that Frank had multiple works, so I guess this dispels that notion.

WOW! Thanks for sharing this Dan! I met Johnny Main at my first of thus far 3 conVENTions in 1988. What a GREAT gentelman! When he found out I live in Syracuse, he said, “That’s not far from me. Here’s my number. Come on up & we’ll talk shop”. I WISH I had a car at that time! Lost out on what would have been a great time I’m SURE! God rest you Johnny! I’ll ALWAYS remember your kindness!
