Where to Go, If Interested in Ventriloquism?

Lately on the Ventriloquist Central Forum, we’ve had quite a few posts from “Wild Ol’ Dan”. He has some great insights about ventriloquism. Here was his latest comment and I thought I would share it with everyone:

Howdy Pards,

Wouldn’t it be great if…there was someplace where a person who was interested in ventriloquism could go to talk with other ventriloquists about…oh, whatever was on their mind…like performance tips, or where to find the best ventriloquist figures, or, well, the latest news in the world of ventriloquism?

I know…we could call it a “ventriloquist forum”. What do ya think?
Would it work?

Course, we’d need a bunch of folks to be a part of it.

And, we wouldn’t want to be overly shy about sharing information… getting and giving information you might say…like “How to build your own Web site” and such…how to put your best foot forward…

Maybe we could link this forum to a centralized spot for ventriloquist information…all things ventriloquism. Hey, I know…
we could call it “ventriloquistcentral”…

I wonder if anybody has ever thought of this idea before?

Oh, wait…turns out this Dan Willinger feller already thought of
all that. My gosh…this here is that forum!

And, when you go to ventriloquistcentral.com you’ll see the level
of dedication he has for “all things ventriloquism”…you’ll see his
love for the art…and you’ll see the absolute best resource for learning anything about ventriloquism.

Boy he sure has put a whole lotta work and a whole lotta love into
this. Reckon we all should be thankin’ this Dan Willinger feller…
for caring enough to make all this happen.

Thanks Dan…ya done good.

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

Wild O’Dan I guess I have to “thanks” to you right up front for such kind words.

You hit the nail right on the head. I wanted to create a place where ANYONE who has the slightest interest in the art of ventriloquism could find his or her answers. I think that we (my webmaster Steve Hurst and I) have done just that.

Enjoy the forum and website and keep up the good comments coming in!!

  1. Bill Smith says:

Hi there Dan, help me understand, are you n’ wild dan, one n’ the same man, ’cause i’m a great big fan, of both these guys named dan, if for president they ran, i’d holler out “He’ da MAN!!” :))

  2. Sorry Bill but Wild Ol Dan is not Dan Willinger. He certainly has a great wealth of knowledge which he is trying to share with everyone here on Ventriloquist Central , by way of the Forum, so because of that I will call him a brother but it truely is not me.
