Ventriloquist Roy Langer

langer

We received the following email this week:

I wanted to write and let you know that my dad, Roy Langer, passed away August 28, 2015. He was the winner of Paul Winchell’s “Best Young Ventriloquist in America” in 1952 and Edgar Bergan’s “Best Kid Ventriloquist in NY”. He went on to co-host The Horn and Hardart Children’s hour on NBC for 12 years. He continued using ventriloquism in his profession as a speech and media consultant.

He loved your blog and was an avid collector of figures as well, so I wanted to write to you and let you know.

Fondly,
Amy Langer Schwartz

Amy, thanks for letting us know. We are sorry for your loss.
