Ventriloquist Ray Austin and Skinny Dugan

you tube ventriloquist ray austin skinny dugan

The other day I was watching videos on Ventriloquist Central Videos and happened across this one with a ventriloquist named Ray Austin.

As you can see, this video is from many years ago. I thought it was interesting for a couple of reasons. First off, Ray uses a very nice Frank Marshall ventriloquist figure.

Second, he named his dummy, Skinny Dugan. I started thinking how many people back then named their dummies Skinny Dugan.

I thought I would share this video with you.

Thanks for posting that, Dan. I enjoyed that. It seems the young kids didn’t quite get it, but he was good. I wonder what happened to Ray Austin.

Ray was an up & coming talent at the time of the video. Never had an opportunity to meet Ray. Wonder what happened to the beautiful Marshall figure ?

Forgot to post this: I believe Ray passed away a few years ago.
