Ventriloquist Peter Brough and Archie Andrews Comic Strip

Once again our friend from “down under”, Colin Williams has sent us another gem.

Hi Dan,
I really enjoyed your blog on the Bergen marketing. As a kid I looked forward to the Charlie McCarthy comic books.

Attached is a comic strip of Peter Brough and Archie Andrews that appeared each week in a comic book, “Radio Fun”. It ran for several years in the early 50s. I thought you may find it amusing.

Best wishes,
Colin

Thanks Colin for sharing.
