Ventriloquist Central's Motorcycle

At the beginning of the summer I purchased a new, to me, motorcycle and posted some pictures of it here on the blog (click here to see the blog post).

It is a 1999 Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan Drifter. It was designed by Denny Berg to resemble a 1947 Indian chief. I thought it was simply beautiful and over the summer have enjoyed cruising on this wonderful bike.

I have been asked by a few folks if I had done anything to the bike so here are a couple pictures of the bike as I have dressed her. I added an OEM tank Bib, OEM saddlebags, OEM chrome seat, rail Indian light on the front fender, Indian front fender tip, fringe on the floor boards, red dot rear brake and directional lights now has 3 brake lights, Indian design tank and air cleaner emblems and white wall tires. In my opinion my bike is now the perfect Pretendian.

I have been parked and other bikers have said it is the prettiest Indian I have ever seen. Some very elderly gents have said they remember riding Indians like mine and then almost fall over when I tell them it is not an Indian but a Kawasaki.
